Slaughterville Baptist Church wants to help you understand the difference a relationship with God can make in your life. Everyone has problems but God has given us the answers to our problems. Those answers can be found by putting our trust in Jesus and learning what God has said in His word, the Bible, that applies to our situation. God loves us and has a plan for our lives. Those plans are “to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11(NIV)

It is our desire and mission to be a dynamic, spiritual body that is empowered by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of sharing Christ with as many people as possible within our church, community and throughout the world.

We strive to be a fellowship that experiences an awareness of God by recognizing His person, and responding through a lifestyle of worship and continual obedience to His leadership. It is our hope that all who come to our church experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God as well as fellow believers.

It is our goal to help people experience a growing knowledge of God, our relationship to Him as well as to be a church which ministers unselfishly to the people of our community. We are a church whose purpose is to be Christ-like in our daily living by emphasizing a total commitment of life, personality, and possessions to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
