The Courageous Bible Study

God's Word calls us to be strong and courageous for the sake of our faith and our families. Both men and women will learn how to resolve to leave a strong legacy of faithfulness for their children and generations to come.                              Thursday Evening Life Group:                                                                                           A women's Bible Study , Lies Women Believe, meets Thursday evenings           @ 7 PM in Amber Page's home.                                                                                                                                                             Life Matters: Bible Studies for Life

How do we live out our faith in everyday life? We'll address that in January as we take a look at the intersection of our faith with five specific cultural challenges we face: excess, impurity, social injustice, prejudice, and poverty.                                                                                                    Then: No matter how long we've been Christians, submitting our lives to Jesus is always challenging. We'll find guidance in February through an in-depth look at passages from Colossioans. We'll see what the apostle Paul teaches us about living in Christ alone.

Sunday School:

 This quarter we will explore the Bible with a study in Numbers and Deuteronomy. We will learn from the people of the Old Testament who lived life on the edge and contrast the faithfulness of God to the lack of faith by His people.

Do you wonder how to find time to serve God while you're taking care of your life and family?

Here at Slaughterville we have several ways you can connect with other men and their sons.  We have service opportunities, small group activities, father-son activities as well as just good-ole fun events like skeet shoots, fishing trips, golf tournaments, and many others.

G.I.G.G.L.E.S.

The Women’s Ministry of Slaughterville Baptist Church has named themselves G.I.G.G.L.E.S. which stands for:

Girls in God, Giving, Loving, Eating, & Sharing.  Believe me, we love to Give often, Love each other, Eat (who doesn’t), and Share (talking is what women were born to do).  Laughing and sharing are things we love to do, but our heart’s desire is to serve the Lord.

 “…a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.”  Proverbs 31:30

 Our activities include a women’s day out, secret sisters, and group meetings.  Our mission is to assist with the "Helping Hands Ministry."  This ministry helps us meet basic needs in our community.  There is also a Quilting Ministry- see the Become Involved tab for more details on those. We would love to have you as a part of our ministry.  If you have any questions please contact:

Come and connect with us on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM and Sundays at 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM to see what it feels like to really belong.  We hope to see you at our next event.

Here at Slaughterville, we have an awesome children's program. 

Come check us out on Sunday morning from 9:30-12:00 for Sunday School and Children's Church.  Kids have a great time as they play exciting games while learning how to be a team player and a good sport, but most of all, how to honor their parents and Christ.

Hand-N-Hand Puppet Crew

We are a traveling puppet ministry that focuses on ministering the love of God through puppets and music.  We have several different shows and over 30 different puppets.  A Large part of our program is also done with blacklights.  It is always a blessing to go and minister the love of God to children and adults.  We schedule events on a Love Offering Basis and would love to come and visit your church.
