G.I.G.G.L.E.S.
The Women’s Ministry of Slaughterville Baptist Church has named themselves G.I.G.G.L.E.S. which stands for:
Girls in God, Giving, Loving, Eating, & Sharing. Believe me, we love to Give often, Love each other, Eat (who doesn’t), and Share (talking is what women were born to do). Laughing and sharing are things we love to do, but our heart’s desire is to serve the Lord.
“…a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” Proverbs 31:30
Our activities include a women’s day out, book club, outreach ministry project, secret sisters, and group meetings. There is also a Quilting Ministry, Scrapbook Ministry, and Soup for the Soul Ministry - see the Become Involved tab for more details on those.
